Our Trauma and Critical Care Mobile Unit is the first of its kind in Goa.
It is a sophisticated mobile platform that has the capability to render Advanced Life Support and intensive therapy for any emergency medical situations including cardiopulmonary cases, orthopaedic & trauma cases, road traffic accidents, post operative transfers etc.
The entire patient cabin is air-conditioned and is integrated and designed by Aeon Medical, India's first mobile healthcare company. All the systems are CE approved.
The ambulance is a self contained mobile ICU with all medical support systems available on board with a high qualified team consisting of doctors, nurses and paramedics.
It is equipped with an Auto-loading stretcher cum trolley which enables the patient to be shifted to or from the ambulance to the residence or hospital bed in a seamless manner, without any movement trauma to the patient.
It has a Scoop Stretcher , approved by NATO that scoops up the patient with orthopaedic, Spinal or pelvic injuries with minimal discomfort to be transferred to the ambulance.
Also present is a Porta Vac which is an automatic suction system that is fully ambulance compatible. This has no Indian substitute so far.
There is a Transport Ventilator manufactured in Germany. It is extremely road worthy and is capable of handling any pulmonary distress cases and is also capable of reviving a critically ill patient in the ambulance itself. It can be used for hours together so shifting a patient from a long distance is absolutely safe.
It also has a high end Patient Monitor that continuously monitors the patients vital parameters like electrocardiograph, oxygen saturation in the blood, blood pressure, respiration rate etc.
So the doctor can begin a full fledged therapy in the ambulance itself with all the appropriate drugs, IV fluids etc without waiting to reach the hospital.
The ambulance also has an electrically operated water supply system which is hygienically designed for storage of both fresh and unhealthy water.
With all these modern systems available on board the ambulance itself, the treatment and stabilization of critically ill patients can be achieved in the 'golden hour' itself thereby improving the outcome tremendously.
